File and Sample topics
Frequently asked questions about files -samples.
How do I transfer a file with WeTransfer?
With we transfer you can transfer files, which due to document size cannot be sent by email, up to 2 GB. The recipient receives an email with a link to download the file directly and quickly to their computer.
You can find detailed instructions in the file below Send files via Wetransfer
What are the appropriate ways to send files?
Through our website at the point where the upload file is indicated. By submitting a quote request, you can also upload your work file at the same time.
For any other case via email: production@printhouse.gr , if your files are less than 8 mb or alternatively by using the www.transfer.com email address for larger files, as mentioned above.
What happens to my file after the order is completed?
Every file sent is deleted from the company's database.
It is possible to keep the file upon agreement.
What file does the client send to be printed?
For product offers we take into account that you have closed electronic files (pdf) ready.
For example, to print a book send a file for the inside and a cover file.
What is the customer's responsibility in relation to his files?
The customer is responsible for keeping a copy of the original electronic file or work submitted. Our company is not responsible in case of loss or destruction of the material, before or after the completion of the work.
We are not responsible for checking the correctness of the file sent by the customer (with regard to the content of the file for design or grammatical errors, its correction, etc.)
If the client's file is not suitable for printing for any reason (e.g., low resolution), the job to be performed will not proceed unless a new file is sent by the client, after consultation with the client.
A sample of digital print work may be requested?
If requested, we send digital sample to our customers at their own cost.
The production process starts with the customer's final approval, which will be given either in writing or via email.
Are there colour differences in the samples?
Because there are differences in both equipment and papers, inks and more between sample and production, a reasonable colour deviation between sample and final product is considered acceptable.
The requested samples are printed on the machine selected for the production of each order.
The creation, comparison and adjustment of files is the sole responsibility of the customer.
If you do not wish the sample to be printed, this means that you unreservedly accept the result of the printing.
